Author Feature: Beach Short’s Simon Quinn

We’ve been busier than bees at Speculation Publications, and although Pride Month slipped passed us too quickly, we feel every month should celebrate pride. So, while we’re in the swing of summer heat, we wanted to introduce you to, Simon Quinn, contributing author to our anthology Beach Shorts; Spec Pub’s romantic and whimsical collection of summer romance stories.

Simon’s story, Muffins and Meet Cutes—about a bratty barista and an awkward artist colliding on the beach and making waves in the coffee shop as they realize they are on their way to a beautiful summer romance—is the perfect story to showcase Beach Shorts; the relaxing, vacation or staycation, read on your sofa, hammock, poolside chaise or tiny beach chair under a wide umbrella.

Simon Quinn is a queer disabled author and poet who focuses on representing people like him in his work. In his free time he enjoys experimenting with new tea blends, playing with his fluffy gray cat, and painting sharks.
