In her upcoming work, Carol’s a co-editor and contributor to DISCONTINUE IF DEATH ENSUES (Flame Tree Publishing, Sept. 2024), an anthology of fierce horror/dark fiction with her fellow Stoker nominees (first time all five identify as women!) where the abuse of women and the planet reaches a tipping point. They bring us a fight. They shall know our rage. Contributors are Carol Gyzander, Lee Murray, Cindy O’Quinn, Anna Taborska (co-editor), and Kyla Lee Ward.

She is currently co-editing Dark Spores: Stories We Tell After Midnight 4 with Rachel A. Brune from Crone Girls Press. Marie Woods, Nicholas Kaufmann, Sara Tantlinger, Nicole Givens Kurtz, and over a dozen more. They just completed a successful Kickstarter and plan for a fall release.
